In spring 2016 I started conducting the world famous women choir Graduale Nobili. We started off by giving a spring concert in May that year and then going on a small concert tour to Milan, Italy where we had two concerts where we also premiered a new piece written for the choir by composer Lamberto Curtoni. In December we had the annual Christmas Concert where we performed Britten’s Ceremony of Carols with harpist Elisabet Waage. The National Radio, RUV, recorded that concert and it was aired on Boxer Day 2016. Then in January we were again on RUV, and live this time, and sang in a ceremony where RUV gave annual awards to Icelandic artists of many diciplines. Spring 2017 we will have a few concerts (TBA) where we will premiere a few new pieces that we have commissioned from Icelandic composers.
